Friday’s of Lent are of special observance for the Church and are an opportunity not simply to ‘give things up’ but to take on something extra for the good of our souls.
Stations of the Cross will be at Goldthorpe (6pm) which is a simple 30 minute service walking the way of the cross through the church with reflections at each station and hymns.
At 12noon there will be soup lunch at Goldthorpe Parish Hall. All money raised will be sent to the DEC appeals for the Turkish/Syrian Earthquake and Ukrainian War appeals and the Trussell Trust.
All are more than welcome.
